It is this time of the year.

The German Air Force Air Defense Center Fort Bliss will host this years Oktoberfest from September 12^th to September 14^th, 2008.

Same procedure as every year ... that means 

On Friday and Saturday the party starts at 1900 hours (Gates open at 1800 hours). 

Admission is $25,00 and includes 

• an original German Beerstein
• an authentic Bavarian Meal
• a raffle Ticket for a raffle hosted by the German Air Force Charity Organization Aid-for-the-Needy. Lots of valuable prizes are waiting for a winner
• Lots of fun and time to dance, sing link arms and sway to Bavarian Style Oompah Music from the German Band “The Eyachtaler”

 On Sunday we will have a Military appreciation and Family Day. From noon to dusk (gates open for a Lutheran worship at 1030 hours., worship starts at 1045 hours., gates open for public party 1130 hours, Party starts at 1200 hours)

Admission is free!!!

We hope to see you there at building 747 on Carter Rd, Fort Bliss.

 Off-Post visitors must present valid drivers License, vehicle registration and insurance to get a day pass from the pass-office. Pass offices are located on Robert E. Lee Gate and Cassidy Gate.

 Tickets are non-refundable and sold only through General Ticket Sales.
